11 Months Old

I just can't believe this lil guys is almost 1!!!!  Some days have gone by so fast!  I won't lie, other days have dragged by;)  He keeps us on our toes each and every day!  Emmett is just not a baby anymore.  I look at him and see a little toddler.  I love watching him explore and learn new things.  He is such a curious little guy and he is into everything! Can't wait to see what this next year brings.  I feel so beyond blessed and could not have asked for a more amazing gift from God.

Alex's 1st Birthday

We had so much fun at Alex's Birthday!  Emmett was a little fussy so I had to miss out on some of the festivities but my Dad took pictures for me.  He even put Emmett to bed so I could be a part of the birthday party!  Thanks Dad, you are the best!!!!

Kate put on a little man/mustache theme.  It was so stink in' cute!!!  Everybody had a really good time and Alex was quite the little entertainer.  He even threw his cupcake on the ground!  We have to teach him to only throw veggies on the ground not the goods;)

I loved the decorations.  Kate and I put most of them up the day before.  Paul created the monthly pictures and they looked amazing.

Visit to Minnesota

Emmett and I traveled to Minnesota for for my nephew Alex's 1st birthday!  We had so much fun and loved spending time with everyone.  We all went out to a great Italian restaurant at my mecca Mall of America!!!  I love that place!  I didn't even get a chance to shop this time while we were there:(  Boo! We watched the roller coasters with the boys while we walked around and just got a little bit of exercise in after eating so much.  Grandma Prindiville drove up with Mom and Dad for the festivities and Uncle Joe flew back from Denver also.  The party was on Saturday and then we went back to Illinois for a few days before flying home.  It was a wonderful week!

The boys

10 Months Old

I'm a little behind on his 10 month update.  It has been a very crazy couple of months with travel and family visiting.  I can't believe we are almost to Emmett's one year birthday!!!!  This year has flown by:)  We feel so blessed to have this little man in our life and can't imagine a day without him.  His little personality has been coming out and he seems more like a little boy than a baby.  We love you so much big guy!!!!

-Set backs with eating solid foods and baby foods this month.  He's been so sick that all he wants are bottles lately.  We will get back on track once he gets over this little bug that's been going around

-Loves climbing up the stairs and has even been working on going down the stairs backwards

-Playing and exploring his new playroom in the basement

-Weight 21 lbs 11 oz at last appointment, haven't measured him a while to find out height

-Crawling around like crazy and loves climbing on anything he can get to.  Attempts getting up on the couch, scales the fireplace, tries climbing up the dog food container (pretty entertaining), loves climbing up and down on mom and dad.

-Emmett has been walking along furniture and is even balancing all on his own for a few seconds at a time.  I think he will be walking in no time!

Atlanta!

We went down for a week to help out with my nephews and niece. It was so much fun to hang out with Matt and Ashley too! I'm going back down the beginning of March.  I love being with everyone and having Emmett play with all his cousins.  There are always beautiful things that come out of the tough times.  God is good:)

Bath Time

Emmett loves bath time!  He loves playing with his toys, splashing in the water, and watching water come out of the faucet. He is so curious about everything around him and likes to try figuring things out.  We think it might be the little engineer in him.  He comes by it naturally;)

9 Months Old

Emmett turned 9 months old while we were down in Atlanta.  He is still crawling around like crazy, climbing stairs, and trying to turn things into jungle gyms.  Emmett loves climbing over anything and everything!  It is so funny to watch him explore.  He loves cabinets, drawers, doors, etc.  Basically everything he shouldn't be getting into!  Ha! He is a great baby and so easy most days.  We are finally into a pretty solid sleep routine.  He wakes up around 7:30am or so and goes to bed between 7-8pm.  Emmett usually takes a morning and afternoon nap too.  Sometimes he gets a little off schedule when we travel or when he gets sick.  It is way different than the first 8 months of his life though.  It has been amazing to get sleep again!
