Nora turns 1 and Emmett turns 4!!!!!

So of course, we can't have a birthday party unless there is a blizzard! :) The snow storm came in the day of the joint birthday party at our house. It's so crazy how we have been getting these storms in May!  All part of the Colorado experience! Ha! We started out the festivities with a party at Little Monkey Bizness on Friday, a joint party at our house on Saturday, and a family party on Sunday.  Next year we are doing it all at one location!  I was exhausted by the end of the weekend.  The kids had a great time!  Nora's theme was All Things Pink and Emmett's theme was Star Wars.  The kids all came dressed in theme and we even had light saber training with a standoff against Darth Vader.  I don't know who enjoyed it more the kids or parents:). Pretty entertaining and fun weekend!

I loved this Storm Trooper Balloon!  It was huge

Thank goodness we had young jedis to protect us!;)

Spring 2017

Spring came and went within the blink of an eye!  From March until May, I think we went without stopping! We started off the Spring with a remodel on our kitchen which is still on going!  I want to finish it off by painting our cabinets, peninsula, and island.  Mike is really thrilled about it;)  The triplets came out for their annual Spring Break ski trip.  We only saw them for a couple of days because we had a wedding to attend in Charleston, SC. which was amazing.  The kiddos stayed in Denver with Pam, Bill, and Uncle Mark's family.  Emmett went up to the mountains with his cousins, Uncle Mark, and Pa.  Pam stayed in Denver with Nora.  Emmett went on a short ski ride with Uncle Mark on his shoulders! At the end of March, I took Emmett and Nora to Minneapolis for Alex's birthday party.  We had so much fun! There were some nice weather days when we attended the zoo and Easter was absolutely beautiful in Boulder.  April was a quiet month until the traveling began again in May.
