Tulsa Baby Shower

We had such a good time while we were in Tulsa for my baby shower!  It was my last trip I could take before the baby gets here.  Mike and I drove in with Barley and stayed for about a week.  The whole family was there and my parents were even able to join us too.  It was a busy week.  We celebrated Roman's 4th birthday, my baby shower, and got in some lake time too!  My parents got to spend some time at the lake and go on some cold boat rides with us. Mike's aunts Janell, Jill, and cousin Jessie hosted a wonderful baby shower for me.  It was so much fun and Ashley's mom even got to come celebrate with us too.
Me and my sista in laws:)  Ashley is pregnant too and will be expecting Hudson about 2 weeks after us.

Nursery

I have loved putting together Emmett's nursery.  I really enjoyed painting his letters and the ABC box that is sitting on his toy storage.  My friend Sabrina gave us her crib which looks brand new and is beautiful!  I found the glider in a neutral color which was not easy to find!  I've kept the colors pretty basic with neutral grays and different color blues.  It is so cozy and comfy.  There is definitely an airplane theme but I am also adding in animals in gray colors.
Emmett is the name!!!!!

Airplane themed bedding

I love these curtains and his toy storage area

I added on new knobs to the dresser and I love the airplane light (from my mom) and airplane bank (from Mark, Whitney, and kiddos)

Basement Renovations

We decided to start the basement remodel before the baby got here.  A little bit crazy but we are so happy to have the additional space now and new bathroom.  It was nice to have the mess downstairs and not be living in it.  I could just close the door to the basement and it didn't even feel like there were renovations going on:)  We moved around several rooms too which has been nice.  We changed one of the rooms on the second floor to an office, switched around a guest bedroom, and then added on another guest room in the basement.  I could not be happier with the basement and I'm so happy to have everything finished before the baby gets here!

Pregnancy

I'm so happy I've been tracking with pregnancy pictures.  It's so fun to see how much I've grown in the last 9-10 months.  I still can't believe that this little miracle of a baby has grown and is almost ready to get here!  I'm at 39 Weeks and feeling every bit of it:)  Mike had to head out today for one last day of training in Ohio.  We are just hoping and praying he will be here for labor.  I'm very blessed to have my brother staying with me while Mike is gone.  I also have neighbors checking in on me and Mike's mom will get here Monday and my mom will be here on Wednesday.  Very excited to meet this lil' man!

30 Weeks Pregnant! Nursery Pics to Come:)

30 Weeks!
Mike and I went out for a date night on Valentine's night.  It was so nice to go to a great dinner in the Cherry Creek area.  We went for an Italian night dinner and it was delicious!  Mike says it might be the best Italian he's ever had!  I'm trying to document these pregnant pics by request from family and friends:)  It's getting harder to move as fast and do as much as I want to do everyday.  I have to rest a lot more than usual but to be expected.  I keep forgetting that I'm almost 8 months pregnant and I'm still doing a lot more than I think!

Mike left today for 3 weeks of training on the new airplane he will be flying so I'm home alone tonight but my brother is moving back in tomorrow for a few weeks and my parents get here on Tuesday to help with some house stuff before the baby gets here:)  I'm hoping these few weeks go by quickly while Mike is gone.

29 Weeks!!!!

29 Weeks

It has been a crazy week!!!!  I am at 29 weeks now and feeling alot bigger!  January was a bit of a rough month.  I was cramping quite a bit in the beginning due to growth were the doctor's thoughts.  I was a bit nervous it was contractions at first but was relieved to find out that it didn't seem too serious.  I was told to slow down and rest more.  It has been a challenge for this girl to slow down and not do as much exercise but I will get back to it in due time:)  I'm still doing some side lying pilates, prenatal pure barre, and some walking, just not like before but all part of the adjustment.

We just found out this week Mike got a bid on a Falcon airplane which is great for him in his career.  There will be some big schedule changes which is a kinda stressful but better to happen now than later in pregnancy or with a newborn.  Mike will be in Ohio for 3 weeks of training and then he will have a different schedule for a little bit.  My Mom and Dad along with my brother will be keeping me company the first week Mike is gone and then I'm going out for a long weekend in Ohio to see Mike to break it up a little bit.  3 weeks is quite awhile to be apart:(  As soon as Mike gets home, we will be traveling to Tulsa for a baby shower and then I will be stuck at home until the lil one gets here!  I think we are going to attempt to start basement renovations also to have another living space for visitors/family.  Can we add anything else in right now!?  Wow!

Rockford Baby Shower

Kate and I had our joint baby shower in Rockford, IL this past weekend.  It was such an amazing time!!!  Pam and Bill flew in from Tulsa and Joe flew in from Denver.  Paul's mom Karen also drove down from the UP so we had quite a crew not to mention all of our Bushmeyer/Prindiville relatives that were part of the celebration.  Aunt Beth put on a great shower for all the girls and we shipped all the boys off to the bowling alley:)  Kate is expecting her lil one at the end of March and he will be my first nephew on my side of the family!!!!  We are bombarding my mom with two grand babies at once!  So much fun and such a blessing for our family.

All the Grandmas and Mommas

The boys came back after bowling to open up a gift from Mom and Dad for the babies.   They were en route to a brewery so we had to drag them away;)

Uncle Joe bought Misfits outfits for our lil guys, Dad found us John Deere wagons (Riley wants in on the action), and Mom brought us back Koala Bears from Australia.  I think my baby is set;)
