Family Time

The triplets and Mark came to visit us when we got back from Costa Rica.  The kiddos were on Spring Break.  We had a blast!  It was a busy and fun week while they were in town.  We went to the park, the rec center, a day trip to Boulder, and a big ski day in the mountains.  Pam and Bill came in town to babysit Emmett so Mike and I could go skiing too.  It was such a fun week!  Emmett loved having his cousins in the house.  He went around the house looking for them after they left:(  I'm hoping this becomes an annual Spring Break trip!

I just love this photo!  The kids had just gotten to our home and they came running up to Emmett.  He grabbed their hands and started walking towards home.

Me and the girls

We took a day trip into Boulder.  It was so nice outside! We sat up on the rooftop of The Rio and walked around the downtown.

We all went up to Keystone.  It was the first time skiing for the kids and they were amazing! It was a wonderful day!

Pura Vida!

Mike and I went to Costa Rica for a couple days.  It was amazing!!!! My parents came in town and watched Emmett for us so we could take a vacation.  It was so relaxing.  We loved the resort we stayed at. It was so fun to kayak, snorkel, hike, and lounge by the pool. We thought about going to the volcanoes or mud baths but decided to just stay at the resort.  The resort stretched for about a mile right along a beach.  It was just beautiful!  The people are so friendly and accommodating too!  There was a forest fire going the second night we were there! It was crazy!  We asked the staff if everything was ok.  The response was we hope so :( They are a pretty easy going people! We could call out to the firemen because they were so close to us. Everything ended up being ok though. It is going to be a pretty busy couple of months so we loved having some down time:)

The beach was right below us.  We walked on it every day.  I loved the black sand

Christmas in Tulsa!

Our final destination over the Christmas extravaganza was Tulsa!  We celebrated with all of the Franks and then we went over to Grandma Jones' house for another mini Christmas.  We sure did make the rounds this year!  I'm not going to lie, it was kinda exhausting but we are so blessed to have such a huge extended family to spend time with.  I loved seeing all of my family and then spending time with all of Mike's family.  We were going to try to join Mike's cousin and brother's family at the lake on New Year's Ever.  We ended up going to dinner with Pam and Bill and then calling it an early night.  I didn't even come close to making it to midnight! Ha! I didn't mind though.  It was so nice to catch up on some rest.  We stayed in Tulsa about 5 days and then drove home to Denver.  We made it through one hectic holiday season!

Prindiville and Bushmeyer Christmas

We celebrated with my Dad's whole extended side of the family on Christmas afternoon.  We then drove to Rockford that weekend to celebrate with my Mom's whole side of the family.  We fit in a lot of family time!!!  Emmett loved playing with his cousins Jack, Lilly, and Alex.  The kids had so much fun and we all enjoyed visiting and relaxing.

Christmas Eve and morning

My whole immediate family went to church on Christmas Eve.  Unfortunately, the little boys weren't quite up for it.  Mike and Paul stayed home with the little ones so Kate and I could attend church with the rest of our family. We stayed in for dinner and then put out cookies for Santa!  The next morning we woke up and opened presents with the little boys.

Christmas 2014

We had a whirlwind holiday season!  I think we celebrated Christmas 4 or 5 times this year:)  My brother Joe helped me fly back with Emmett to Illinois.  Mike was working right up until almost Christmas Day.  He drove to Illinois with Barley and met us for Christmas Eve.  It was so nice seeing everyone.  We celebrated with my whole extended family and then drove down to Tulsa from Illinois to celebrate with Mike's family.  We had so much fun!  We are so thankful for a wonderful year and all the family time.  So thankful to Lord Our Savior for giving us so much to celebrate!
