Halloween 2014

We went to the Munchkin Masquerade for the 2nd year in a row.  It is so much fun to see all the kiddos dressed up and trick or treat along Pearl Street in Boulder.  Emmett wasn't feeling the greatest though.  I think he was teething and just not having it this year.  He was pretty much attached to Mike the whole time but he did warm up a little bit towards the end of the night.  Our neighbors joined us with their little one who is about the same age as Emmett.  Our friends who live in Boulder came along too and my aunt met up with us.  We had quite a group:)  The parents par-taked in some adult beverages at a local brewery by the end of the night.  Good times!

Fall Pictures

We took some family Fall pictures!  It is so hard getting a 1 1/2 year old to smile!  Ugh!  Lil stinker!

Pumpkin Patch

We took Emmett to the local pumpkin patch.  It is a huge farm with just acres of land!  I love it!  It reminds me of back home:)  They have a small farm animal petting zoo and inflatable toy play area.  Emmett just loved it!

What are these things?!

Last year we were all bundled up in coats for pumpkin picking and this year we are in shorts!  Welcome to Colorado:)

Fall 2014

This Fall has been flying by!  I can't believe it is almost Halloween and then the world wind of holidays begins:).  Emmett has been literally running from one place to the next.  This is such a fun age.  His little personality is coming out and it cracks Mike and I up!  I have started teaching at a gym downtown called Bonza Bodies and teaching Pilates again at Pilates Vita along with still in home training a couple of my clients.  It has been a busy few months coordinating schedules but I love being back in the fitness world again.  Mike is still busy flying for NetJets.  We are enjoying are beautiful Fall weather.  I'm bracing for what I think will be a very cold winter.  All is good though:)

California

I went to the IDEA World Fitness Convention in mid August.  My parents were here for most of the month of August so they babysat Emmett while I went to the convention. Mike was working for the first part and then met me in California.  It was nice to have a few nights of dinners out together and some pool time:)  The convention was amazing and I love going to these events!!!!  Keeps me current in the fitness industry and keeps me motivated!

We even had time to meet my friend Jay in Santa Monica at the pier.  It was nice to get in some ocean time too!

Birthday!

I celebrated my 34th Birthday this past weekend with my parents and brother.  Mike had to go back to work the day of my birthday which was a bit of a bummer.  We got to go out on a date night to my favorite local restaurant though the night before!  So that made up for it:)  The day of my birthday we went to Boulder for dinner at The Med and then dessert at Piece, Love, Chocolate!  It is the most phenomenal chocolate shop in Boulder.  I used to go there a lot after my baby appointments;)  It has been such a fun weekend and I'm looking forward now to make a quick trip to California for a fitness convention.  This has been a wonderful summer!  I'm really looking forward to enjoying the last month of summer before we start getting snow storms!

Anniversary Trip

Mike and I made a quick trip up to Beaver Creek for our 3rd wedding anniversary on July 22nd:)  We had Emmett with us so it wasn't exactly relaxing but we had a great time!  Emmett had his first experience in a mountain side hot tub!  He loved it and it was so nice to take in some mountain time.  We walked around Vail and Beaver Creek during the day and then we celebrated with dinner at the resort's restaurant. It was a wonderful trip and we loved getting up to our favorite mountain resort.
